Sunday December 5 2004
Nice day. Cold no wind and the sun was shining for a bit. There was a good amount of flying done.
BobDog brought out his Wright Flyer along with a SP400 Slinger flying wing.
There was a maiden on the Slinger. All went well.
Turtlewings brought out his Tipsy for a maiden. Things did not go so well but the damage wil be an easy repair.
Turtlewings also found out that Foam Safe CA can be Accelerated by spitting on it. I encourage all of you to now spit on your models during repair :-)
JetTech and Mad Dog brought out there SS`s on floats. I am unsure if we can call MadDogs SS a SS. Its part SS and part Crazy Max with a brushless motor and lipo pack. In other words, "A Monster".

Saturday December 4 2004
Good flying day. There was some wind but later in the afternoon you were able to fly IPS size models.
MDG flew is Zero. Nice flying stable model.
BobDog and I had some fun flying formation with our SS. To bad I followed him right into the goal posts.
Bobdog wanted to fly my SS so I handed him the radio and SS. Once again while he was flying one of my models something went wrong.
He managed to spin the D pinion Gear of my Gearbox.
I think he need to change his name to Jinxed.

Sunday November 28 2004
Another day of heavy wind and cold temps. The sun was out and made it feel slightly warmer. When the sun went down so did the temperature. Another day we all left when it was still light enough to fly.
Aeropylot brought out his newly completed F-15. Really nice build job. Due to the nasty wind we did not get to see the F-15 maiden.

Saturday November 27 2004
It was cold, snowing and windy but people were flying. Die Hards.
Dennis, JetTechs brother, came out to fly with us. As usual we were treated to some incredible flying by Dennis. He makes it seem so easy.

Thanksgiving
It turned out to be a great day for flying. No wind. Perfect for IPS motors no rain comfortable temp (no gloves needed) and the sun came out for a short time.
Kerry and Justin had some radio problems with glitching and we think it might be coming from Robs brand new radio. The strange thing is Rob and I where able to fly together and there was no interference from his radio like there normally is.
The evening of flying ended as the sun went down and the mist slowly crept towards us from the west side of the field. This was a great backdrop to make the final flight of the day with the Tiger Moth.
I am still smiling.
Looking forward to flying on Saturday. Hope everyone can fly this weekend.
Lets hope for good weather
Sunday November 21 2004
It was cold but very little wind and the sun was out. Good flying conditions. Turn out was good.
There were several maidens.
JetTechs F 18 which crashed to very bad glitching. Possibly the RX.
JetTechs E-Spresso which flew well after some trimming.
Turttlewings and his GWS Tiger Moth. Things did not go so good. Unsure of what happened.
Aeropylot and his new version of his bipe. No problems there.
All wrecks today are easy repairs and should all be back in the air by next weekend.

Saturday November 20 2004
Cold, cold, cold. Add wind and you have yourself an unpleasant weekend. Several of us showed up to fly and JetTech brought out his F 18 to show us along with his E-Spresso.
When flying the Slow Stick in that wind you spent more time flying backwards than forwards. Landings were difficult.
We all left before the sun went down. That was a first.
Sunday November 15 2004
There was a good turn out for flying today. The weather was ok but on the windy side. IPS models were still able to fly.
I brought the first pylon to the field for member input. Everyone seemed happy with the construction. The pylon was built by Jim.
Thanks Jim

Well I hear there was a maiden by Aeropylot with the Espresso. Seems like things went well after a small OOPS. See the video.
I was unable to attend the flying and would like to note that this was the first day of flying that I have missed :-)
I was attending to BRCF chores building pylons for the races.

Saturday October 17 2004
Nasty day for flying. Wind and rain and some more wind and rain. This did not stop the Die Hards. I am not one of them. I did show up for flying but only after everyone coaxed me out. As always we had fun and some good laughs. Most up us flew regardless of the weather. Looks like I have some winter flying buddys

Saturday October 16 2004
What a great day for flying. The good weather made for a busy field and some great conversation. When was the last time you saw a P51, Corsair and Zero all in the air together? I not sure if they were dogfighting or just chasing each other.) Ncudder had his TM400 up at the same time with the Zero tormenting him. I am kicking myself for not having MDG stick around longer to capture some video
Today was the first time anyone flew helicopters at a Weekend Fly In
I do need to mention that one is never to turn his/her back on a new chopper pilot. :-)
Lets hope the weatherman is wrong for tomorrow.

Sunday October 10 2004
Windy but we were all able to fly.
When the wind went away the the flying ants came out. What !
Saturday October 09 2004
Well I am taking kite string to the field with me on Sunday. I am going to attach the string to my SS :-(.
If a person can fly a stunt kite at the same field you are flying at maybe you should not be flying.
Hoping for less wind Sunday evening.
Come out and join us in the wind Sunday October 10 at Fairmont Junior HIgh

Sunday October 03 2004
First things first we just missed Nckudders birthday. He is old...very old and his flying skills seem to be getting worse with age. Make sure you let him know that.
Sunday was a good day for flying and guess who came out to fly. Flipnidaho. He treated us to some cool flying except he still cant dogfight. Guess who he lost to :-).
Bobdog does not need a buddy box. Do not let him fool you. 4 consecutive flights with his EStarter and no mishaps. Congrats to a new R/C pilot. I hope the bug bites hard
Aeropylot brought out the HUGE Twin Star he has been working on. Flies great.
