Weekend of Feb 03 - 04 2007

Can u believe that fantastic weather today. With all these new projects people have/are working on it looks like this new season is going to be the best so far.

Weekend of November 25 - 26 2006

End of Flying Season 2006
Thank you to all for making 2006 a great flying year. There were so many new flyers.

I guess its not really the end of the flying year but there is no more scheduled flying until March 2007. There will still be flyers at the field on the weekends flying and braving the cold.

We will have the annual New Years Night Fly regardless of the weather just like last year. I also promise not to hit Marks truck. Watch for details...

Weekend September 30 - October 1

Saturday was a fantastic day for flying. Weather was perfect. It brought out a lot of RC Flyers. Twice I counted 8 R/C models in the air. Lets hope this weather holds and Sunday is another great day for flying.

Weekend of September 23 - 24 2006

It flies!!! Mark's Double SlowStick flys, and flys well. It can go straight up with the big motor it has on the back, but just floats along through the air even though it weighs about 3 lbs and that's before the camera is added.

Weekend of September 02 - 04 2006

What a great long weekend of flying. I hope all of those who left town for the Labor Day weekend had a safe trip.
It was a little different seeing a Slow Stick with a Built Up wing and ailerons flying. It moves through the air with far less drag than the OEM wing but I dont think you can call it a "Slow" Stick anymore. The SS speed was impressive even with the stock setup.

I need to apologize to Tim for breaking his prop and ripping the tip off his Slow Stick wing . We had a little "Oops" in the air.

There sure is a lot of night flying going on in these end days of summer. I think there will be more night flying as the days become shorter.

Weekend of August 19 - 20 2006

Sunday was a bit of a harsh day in terms of damage. Oddly enough, none of it happened during the free-for-all dog fight that took place after the sun went down. The most unlikely damage goes to Leonard who had his motor stuck into the eaves of the blue building about 1/4" after he got hit hard with glitches and lost control. Bent prop and broken mounting stick was all he managed to walk away with, though.

Apartment Fire, Boise Idaho

Some good friends of mine and regular flyers lost all they had to an apartment fire here in Boise. Please see this post for details ---> MY APT. BURNED DOWN!!! NO JOKE!!!!

Starting today 25% of all sales for the remainder of August from the BoiseRC Store will be donated to Mike, Dawn and their baby daughter to help them get back on their feet

Weekend of April 22 - 23 2006

Saturday the wind would not stop which made for a lame day of flying. Sunday turned out a little better with the highlight of the weekend going to Chris L for his successful maiden of his Telemaster. This model has grace in the air.

Weekend of April 08 - 09 2006

Well... as you can see the weather is improving and as the weather gets better so do the ideas at the field. Check out the Gallery.

Sunday February 12 2006

We are flying at Fairmont Junior High on weekends. If the weather is ok to fly we will be out there.
